Barrett Cup Winner.

Richard W. Clapp, a senior from Lewiston, Me., was awarded the Barrett Cup which, as Dean Thaddeus Seymour said in presenting the trophy, "represents the very best of the place (Dartmouth)."

Clapp, who has been president of Palaeopitus, an ABC tutor, a Senior Fellow, a member of the varsity lacrosse team, and a member of the Ski Council, was recently awarded an Edward John Noble Foundation Leadership grant to study medicine at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University. He is preparing for a career in public health and administrative medicine.
