Kilt Andrew '55 has completed his second year as president of the Dartmouth Club of Maine and should be commended for his hard work and effective leadership. On March 2 the Club held its annual alumni dinner at the Sheraton-Eastland Hotel in Portland where a Big Green Polynesian buffet was enjoyed by over sixty alumni and wives. Rollie Haynes '54 made most of the arrangements which included a social hour which turned into a social two-hour period. The dinner was highlighted by Associate Professor Donald L. Kreider's very lucid and informative talk on the Dartmouth Computer Center and its effect on undergraduate education. A few of those attending were Arthur Peabody '44, Robert Linscott '52, Sam Wallis '52, Bill Shapleigh '12, Fred Armstrong '29, Al Morrison '57, Bernie Lewis '51, Ray Moulton '50 and Charlie White '57. Dick Murray '57 was in charge of the telephone committee.
Kilt has been very pleased with the response in Greater Portland to our monthly luncheons which have been held on the first Wednesday of each month since September of 1966.
