Under the leadership of President KiltAndrew '55, between fifteen and twenty alumni from the Greater Portland area have been meeting for lunch at the Lafayette Townhouse, 638 Congress Street, Portland, on the first Wednesday of each month at noon. Some have been known to arrive a little before the hour to whet their appetite with a martini or two. Although there rarely is a planned program, the final quarter hour is generally thrown open to general discussion of matters affecting Dartmouth and/or Club activities. We intend to continue these monthly meetings during 1968 and wish to invite anyone who happens to be in Portland on business or vacation on the first Wednesday of the month to join us. A few of the regulars are Ernie White '05, Bill Shapleigh '12, Harold Holt '17, Larry Eastman '19, Brad Chase '36, Fred Armstrong '29, Bill Carr '34, Bruce Coggeshall '63, Mike Daley '6O, Sam Wilkinson '48 and Don Cole '45.

A three-page newsletter was mailed out to the approximately 365 alumni living in Maine in January. Any alumnus who did not receive a copy is requested to contact me so that a copy can be sent and his name and proper address added to our roll.
