Frank Cudworth reports a letter from Mrs. Buell Whitehall in reply to a request for news about Frankie Newhall. "I visited Mr. Newhall a few weeks ago and took some of Mr. Whitehall's lovely peonies to him. One of his good nurses had him dressed and in a wheel chair just ready for a ride out-doors. I went along and the nurse picked some pretty daisies along the drive. He was very glad to see me. He took a little walk down the soft carpeted hall with us when we came back indoors. I shall go again soon and take your letter to him.
"Frank W. Newhall, formerly of Massachusetts, came to Uniontown, Pa., in the early 1900s as a mining engineer. He became chief engineer of Republic Steel Company with offices here. Although he had no children and his wife passed away about 1915 he took great interest in his church and the YMCA and other welfare organizations. His address is Laurel Rest Home, 75 Hickle Street, Uniontown, Pa. 15401, where he has been for several years."
