1901

The Office of -Alumni Records received a belated report announcing the death of our classmate, Warren W. Heald, in Chester, Vt. He died December 8, 1966. He was born in Brattleboro, Vt., December 16, 1878.

He came to Dartmouth with the Class of 1901, and decided to leave after his freshman year. His classmates remember him as quiet but friendly. He taught school for a short time after leaving Hanover; and, later, before returning to Chester, he conducted a general store in South London-derry, Vt.

The Class extends their deepest sympathy to his daughter, Mrs. Mayelyn Bates and to his grandson, Roderick Bates.

Roderick Bates informed the writer that he had applied for admittance to Dartmouth with the Class of 1971 and had been accepted.
