Carl Killam died at his home, 154 East 49th St., Long Beach, Calif. 90805 on December 12, 1967 after a long illness from shocks and heart attacks. An In Memoriam will appear in this or a later MAGAZINE. The funeral services were conducted by Dr. Emerson G. Hangen who had come to Long Beach from the church in Meriden, Conn., that Carl belonged to when he entered mili- tary service. Carl had a saying "Hangen in the pulpit and Killam in the pew."

The following '09ers were 1967 members of the Dartmouth Educational Association: Chester S. Brett, Edgar S. Chappelear, c. Elbert Dole, Bertrand C. French, Stanley Gates, James F. Greenebaum, and Arthur B. Stanley. Sanford B. Hooker and Frank J. Reagan were remembered by memorial gifts.

Vernon F. and Charlotte West will celebrate their 54th wedding anniversary on March 11 having been married on March 11, 1914 at Portland, Me.

Chester S. and Martha S. Brett celebrate their 54th wedding anniversary on April 4 as they were married at Brookline, Mass., on April 4, 1914.

Lawrence V. and Percita Gardner celebrate their 59th wedding anniversary at their home, 9 Birdseye Glen, Verona, N.J. 07044 on April 10 as they were married on April 10, 1909 at East Cleveland, Ohio.

The correct address for Arthur B. Stanley is A. B. Stanley Company, Inc., 230 Route 9, Chestnut Hill, Mass. 02167. His home address is 25 Thornton Road, Chestnut Hill, Mass.

Mrs. Sanford B. Hooker (Lillian) has spent the winter recuperating from major surgery performed last fall. We all wish her speedy recovery and hope to see her at the reunion in June.

Head Agent Stanley W. Leighton has made his appointment of assistants for the 1968 Alumni Fund drive. An early response to the request for your contribution will help 1909 repeat its showing of last year.

The sympathy of the Class goes to George R. Adams in the death of his wife Marian on January 28. 1968 at their home, Apt. 13, Terrace Gardens, South Main St., Wallingford, Conn. 06492, after a long illness and much hospitalization. George and Marian were attendants at most '09 reunions as long as her health permitted. They celebrated their 53 rd wedding anniversary last September 5.

81st birthdays will be celebrated by Ed- ward D. Martin (11) and Ogden Brown (20) this month.
