Dryfoos Conference

The fifth annual Orvil E. Dryfoos Public Affairs Conference, on "Collective Bargaining in the Public Sector," was held May 25-26 under the joint sponsorship of the Dartmouth Public Affairs Center and the Tuck School.

Guest participants in the conference, which serves as a memorial to the late Orvil E. Dryfoos '34, College Trustee and publisher of The New York Times, included Abraham Raskin, author and labor specialist for The Times; Prof. Neil Chamberlain of Columbia University; Dr. Arvid Anderson of the New York City Office of Collective Bargaining; Robert Hastings, general counsel of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, Washington; and Kenneth O. Warner, executive secretary of the Public Personnel Association, Chicago.
