Note the new address of ye sec. Believe it or not, Hazel and I have pulled up stakes in New Hampshire, bought a year 'round house in Sarasota, and the move has been accomplished with a few interesting complications. Our Moultonboro house was sold almost over night as soon as it was put on the market and we bought in Sarasota, only to find out that the Moultonboro deal didn't go through. We carried through with the Florida move, then I went back and sold the Moultonboro house over again. This time the sale took and the papers have been passed.

To prove how small the world is, EllenAyres (Mrs. Ben) asked us to look up her in-laws in Sarasota. We hadn't done it because we had lived on the northern tip of Longboat Key which is 15 miles from Sarasota. However, after we had bought the Sarasota house, believe it or not, we had bought almost across the street from the Coles who are parents of Janet Ayres Cole's husband. He, as some recall, interned at Mary Hitchcock, and now is at Mayo Clinic. Janet stopped recently while visiting the Coles and showed us pictures of her four fine children.

Through the Alumni Records office we learn that Anne, widow of Selwyn Mack, has married again. She is now Mrs. Schnirel and lives at the same address, 376 Girard Avenue, E. Aurora, N. Y. She has done a fine job bringing up and educating her family along with her law work and we all wish her well in her new life.

Cards from Tom and Dot Dudley assured us they had a fine trip to Europe last spring. Their son Peter and his wife went along with them to drive. They rented a car and had a grand tour especially as Peter and his wife had lived and gone to school in Europe before their marriage.

Forby Forbush used an impressive business card to send his "Greetings" to you all. He enclosed a clipping showing a very good picture of Paul Bowerman and telling of Paul's retirement from Cal Tech as associate professor of modern languages. Paul had joined the Caltech family in 1942 after several years as a Foreign Service Officer. Forby, by the way, is deputy business assessor in the Department of Finance in Pasadena, Calif.

A letter from Robin Clanton, granddaughter of Louis Schlobohm, who, although he is not able to write, wanted you all to know he is interested in alumni news, that he has six grandchildren, four being boys and all wanting to be future Dartmouths - also that in January of this year he became a great-grandfather. It has been a long time since we have heard from Louis. He left Dartmouth in 1917 to go into the Army and didn't return but we are glad to know he is still Dartmouth-minded.

Not until a .notice was received from Alumni Office, of a gift contribution to the 1970 Alumni Fund in memory of Paul Giffin, did we know that Paul had died on August 3. No further information at this time but in the meantime, the Class sends its sincere sympathy and thoughts to Helen.

And in about the same mail a letter with clipping enclosed from Sherry and ElizabethBaketel, advising of the death of Charles LeBoutillier of Englewood, Fla. Jean tells us that Charles collapsed as he was going to the dining room table, having had a massive stroke. He was pronounced dead when he reached the hospital, which, since he had a horror of hospitals, is as he would like it.

Thanks to Gugger Fiske for sending a clipping from St. Petersburg Times, telling that '20 has another jogger - Ken Fenderson according to a two-column story written by Dick Bothwell, a neighbor of Ken's and Times' feature writer. Ken goes by his house each morning rain or shine, and jogging is making him feel better than ever.

We were glad to hear from Laddie Myers but sorry he had to report that DonaldMacKay's wife Ruth died on May 9. Among her survivors are two Dartmouth sons, Dr. Edward A. Mortimer Jr. '44 and Robert T. Mortimer '47. She was author of the "White Collar Girl" column in the Chicago Tribune and had published three books. They used to visit back and forth with the Snake Corbins in Fish Creek and Green Bay, Wis. Our sympathy to Don in his recent loss. Laddie, by the way, has to take things a little easier since his heart attack in the spring. He had a dinner date to go to Gugger andJosephine Fiske's apartment in Seminole, Fla.

Everybody that braved the weather and went to the 1920-21 summer get-together at Bob and Martha Burroughs' ('21) very attractive farm in Canterbury, is still talking about what a good time they all had in spite of the cloudbursts. After this picnic Jack and Margaret Mayer continued on north to Sherm Adams' recreation spot on Loon Mountain. They said Ted Marden, after retiring, has started all over again — in charge of landscaping on the Loon Mountain Resort, and outdoor work seems to be agreeing with him according to a fine picture taken of both Jack and Ed.

A note from Ed Bowen reminds us, with the next Reunion coming up in June, that it is time to dust off the nominating committee folder. Working with on the Committee are Nate Whiteside and Paul Hutchinson, if anybody has any suggestions. We had thought Paul and Lydia Hutchinson had established a permanent address on Lost Tree Way, North Palm Beach, but we hear they are on the move again, and I believe are building another house.

Clippings and pictures come from near and far to keep you all posted on the activities of Al, AI Foley, that is. He has been named president of the Vermont Historical Group; and as town moderator and Representative of the Vermont General Assembly.

Others who have pulled up stakes in New England are Sig (Pu) Sigler and Betty. They have sold their home in Fairfield, Conn, and are moving or have moved to Clearwater and although I do not know the exact address they are going to be near Laddie Myers who is at Yacht Basin Apartments on 501 Mandalay Road, Clearwater. The Siglers' mail address is Box 3187, Clearwater.

A reminder: To look back to the '20 notes in the June issue at the football schedule for this fall. It has been arranged that there will be a 1920 table set up at the football end of Leverone Field House before each of the games to be played in Hanover. This is a bring-your-own lunch, etc. and it gives another good opportunity to see and hear and gab. There is usually a chicken barbecue where you get chicken, etc. to bring over to Leverone Field House if you don't care to bring your own lunch. Bill Carter and Al Foley will know the details if you have any questions.

Another reminder is that Pat and NancyHolbrook have again extended an open house invitation for cocktails after the Pennsylvania game on October 11. They are the perfect host and hostess and everybody has had a grand time at the previous parties they have so generously given. And aside from having a good time it is another opportunity for the '20 Class to get together to renew acquaintances for - COME JUNE - 1970.

AI Foley '20, Professor of History Emeritus, recently elected president of theVermont Historical Society, and StanMiner '22, elected vice-president.
