Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Miller, parents of Tuck Miller '69 hosted our summer family picnic at their home, Brook Hill Farm, Hockessin, September 6, 1969. Picnic chairman, Brad Curtis '57 used his IBM background to program a wonderful summer day, ample food and drink, and a tremendous tum-out of over sixty alumni, wives, children, and undergraduates and their parents and guests. Pete Stone and Tom Herlihy rounded out the 1957 delegation to win the Class attendance award. Andrea Foot captained the lady's volleyball team to victory over the Class of 1973, and Tom Charles '46 outlasted tenacious competition to win permanent possession of the horseshoe title. Scott Lundstrom, age 4, experienced the joy of running barefoot through the clover in bee season.

A warm "thank you" from all Delaware alumni to the Millers' in kind appreciation of their graciousness and hospitality.

Congratulations to Walter Mertz '36 promoted to senior vice president, Wilmington Trust. Ed Boies '63 becomes a full-time student at the University of Delaware to finish requirements for his MBA. The welcome mat is out for John F. Billiard '42, Wilmington; and John A. Pfeffer III '6l, Laurel, Md., recently moved into our area.

On the schedule for future events are: enrollment meetings (Robb M. DeGraff '39); possible bus excursion to the Princeton Game, November 22, and the promise of the Glee Club Bicentennial Concert, March, 1970 (Jim Lawrence '57).
