As part of the Dartmouth Experimental College winter term, the Class of 1942 is sponsoring with North Fayerweather Hall a series of discussions on the topic of "Career and Conscience." The coordinating committee for the Class includes Dick Cardozo (Chairman), Harry Bond, Alex Fanelli, Allan Dingwall, and Ad Winship. A number of other members of the Class have been coming to the campus to join the undergraduates in the discussions held every other Tuesday night for ten weeks and to talk informally with the residents of North Fayerweather Hall.

Rev. Jim Curtis, Episcopalian minister in Gary, Ind., came to Hanover on January 14 to join Dr. Dick Cardozo in the first discussion, "The Role of Religion and Medicine in Contemporary Ethics." On January 28, Keith Prouty, of Bethesda, Md., provided organized labor's view and David Sargent, of Wellesley Hills, Mass., represented business in the consideration of "Responsibility of Business to Society."

At the next session on February 11, a discussion of "Opportunity for Creative Expression by the Artist in Contemporary Society" was led by Dr. Joseph Wilder, surgeon and artist, and Jerry Tallmer, reporter and drama critic, both of New York City. "Education: Mother of Creativity or Automation" was the subject of the February 25 session with class representatives including Ed Chalfant, of New York City, professor of English and biographer; Gardiner Bridge, headmaster of the University School of Milwaukee; Joe Palamountain, president of Skidmore College; and Dean Myron Tribus of Thayer School.

The concluding session on March 11 will focus on "The Law and Government: Challenger or Champion of the Establishment, under the leadership of Jim Erwin, Attorney General of Maine; Eastman Birkett, lawyer and political figure from Plandome, N. Y.; and Art Cox, of the Brookings Institution, Washington, D. C.
