Since the December report when it had defeated McGill 24-13 and lost to a strong Harvard team 34-0, Dartmouth's first official wrestling team in some years has added victories over Boston University 19-12 and over Albany State Teachers College 16-15 for an overall mark of three wins and one defeat.

Against B.U. and Albany, the Indian wrestlers had to come from behind to win, and both were thrilling matches. Dartmouth trailed B.U. 13-4 going into the 157-pound bout and were behind Albany 15-2 before getting into the middle weight class.

Lack of experience in lower weights has been a definite handicap to Coach Frank Kapral, who took over the squad in early January. Against Albany, Dartmouth lost the 123- and 1 go-pound matches by pins and the Indians only got moving when John Chilson defeated Albany captain Austin Leahy at 157 pounds. Captain Jim Nevitt won a decision in the 165-pound division and Fred Pitzner and Bob Bickell followed with impressive wins in their weight classes.
