Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia has attracted two '67's — Don Bergman and Hank Cramer — both of whom are nearmg the halfway mark.
New Haven has become the second home for many. Jeff Alperin is a grad student at Yale, Steve Danford is studying at Yale's Dept, of Astronomy and Rick Shephard and John Foley are at the School of Architecture.
Steve Melnikoff is in the Navy, serving as a supply officer aboard the "USS John Willis."
"After receiving his B.E from Thayer in June '68, Ed Kern went on to M.I.T. where he is working towards his masters in ocean engineering.
Pat Horgan is exercising his creative abilities as an advertising specialist with the General Electric Co. in Albany, N. Y.
The Dept. of Physics at the University of Pittsburgh is where Jeff Childs is currently studying.
The Midwest has claimed several members of our class. Roger Bovard is m the Math Dept. at Northwestern; Mike Darby is at the University of Chicago; Lou Dunlap is at the University of Wisconsin; Bob Evans is at Ohio State University; Marty Gale is at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business, and Harry Leich is at the University of Illinois at Urbana.
Doing the suburban bit in Copeaque, N. Y„ is Doug Darby along with his wife and two children. In a recent letter, Doug told us that he has already registered Master Paul Kempner Darby, born July 20, 1968, in the Class of '90. Having left the American Express Credit Card Division in the hands of Mike Seely, Doug is now with their subsidiary, Equitable Securities, Morton & Co. on Wall Street. He invites any and all who "merit an expense account" to take him out to lunch — any time.
From the snow-filled hills of New Hampshire, Bruce Noonan writes that after completing two years at Dartmouth Med this June, he will be moving on to the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. Of course, the fact that his future wife, Nancy Parda (University of Washington '70), is in Seattle might have something to do with his westward pilgrimage. Bruce and Nancy will be making it official on June 28.
At the end of this past fall semester, Bob Morton and his wife Margaret received their masters' degrees in mathematics from UPenn. Bob has moved on to the Coast Guard where he is attending OCS in Yorktown, Va.
Marriage bells rang recently for Joseph Whinery and the former Sarah Williamson (Colby Jr. '67). The couple is making their home in Ann Arbor, Mich., where Joe continues at the University of Michigan Law School.
Lt. Tony Blecher recently became engaged to Carol Joan Weinberg (Goucher). Until their wedding day Tony will be stationed at the Aberdeen, Md., Proving Ground.
In May, Ben Moore and Mary Paine will also take the vows. Ben is a student at the Yale University Graduate School of Drama.
John Schumacher recently received his commission as a second lieutenant in the Army Corps of Engineers. Currently, he is at Fort Bragg, N. C.
Second Lt. Don Hansen has recently completed a supply management officer course at the Army Quartermaster School in Fort Lee, Va.
This spring will bring the marriage of Bruce Smith to Louise Hagemann (Scripps College).
The Second Squadron of the 14th Armored Cavalry Regiment in Bad Kissengen, Germany is 2nd Lt. Gene Tabor's present assignment.
Edwin (Win) Johnson and the former Rita Camera (Skidmore) were married last fall. Win is an Army lieutenant in the Signal Corps and Rita is working as a computer programmer.
Jack Harris is on his way to Monterey, Calif., for six months of training in the Army's French Language School. He first completed basic training at Fort Gordon in Augusta, Ga., as a private E-2.
In January, Bill Postl married the former Vicki Duclos. They are currently living in Toronto where Bill is employed by the University of Toronto.
