Approximately fifty Florida West Coast alumni and friends met for luncheon Monday, March 17 at the Princess Martha Hotel in St. Petersburg to host and hear guest speaker Seaver (Pete) Peters '54, Director of Athletics at the College. Pete gave us an interesting report on the athletic posture of the College and his impressions, of the impact a good athletic program can make on the undergraduates. A lively and spirited question and answer period followed.

Club president, John D. O'Connell '36 conducted the meeting and introduced among other members, Frank Cudworth '01 who carried off the honors of being the oldest alumnus attending. An impromptu cheering section was organized by George Fiske '20 to applaud various deserving members.

Our club meets monthly on the third Wednesday at noon at Holiday Inn, North St. Petersburg. All visiting and resident alumni are cordially invited to attend.
