The first meeting of the Dartmouth Club of Eastern Ohio was held in Akron on May 2. Judge William Quinn '33 presided over the business meeting at which the club's constitution was adopted and the following officers were elected: President, Henry McKee '33, vice-president, Paul Krider '31, treasurer, Ernst Roos '37, and secretary, Theodore Rossi '63.

The sixty alumni and wives who attended heard Coach Dave Gavitt '59 discuss Dartmouth's recent basketball achievements and prospects, and the current state of student unrest at the College. He stated that anything could happen at any time on the campus, and sure enough it did. Exactly one week later the SDS invaded Parkhurst Hall.

With over 100 alumni in the Akron, Canton, Hudson areas, we anticipate having a highly active and successful club.
