Gene Musgrove was one of the first to send in his check. He must be a stamp collector as his letter came with two 3¢ Dartmouth Green Stamps of the Old Man of the Mountain. I don't remember when 3¢ would post a letter but it was in the good old days.

A recent note from Harry Lill writes. "Here's an inflated check for inflated class dues. We are planning to attend the Dartmouth Seminar at Wawona Hotel, Yosemite 9/11 with C. S. Bradshaw '35 who resides nearby. The subject is Revolution and we are hoping to learn what these campus dissenters want. I am glad to receive so much Dartmouth mail; keep up the good work."

C. C. Hills reports from Florida that he has had lunch with Rob Atwood, son of our classmate Jake. Rob is operating the family warehouse business started in the early 1930'5.

Mildred Putnam reports she has rented her third floor apartment to a young man who is working for his master's degree. She is happy with the arrangement. She is still busy settling up George's estate and writing thank-you notes to the many contributors to George's memorial fund.

Bill Blatner writes: "Thanks for letting me know about the passing of L. C. Grover at the ripe old age of 89. It is depressing to have our numbers gradually depleted. Trust you are both well and happy in this very much disturbed world. Dorothy joins me sending warm greetings."

I received the following letter from Ann Haskell in Nashua, their address is: H. M.Haskell, 2 Kirk St., Nashua, N. H. 03060. This is rather a sad letter and I hope a few of the '05 people will feel like dropping a note to Harold.

"Last Saturday, September 26 my father fell and broke his left hip. He is to have a pin put in tomorrow, and will be hospitalized for another three weeks—then may have to spend two or three more weeks in a nursing home.

His doctor and surgeon are both Dartmouth men, so I know he is in good hands. He is in Room 516 at St. Joseph's Hospital if anyone wants to send a card."

Charles D. Hodgman of Milford, N. H., writes, "My daughter gave me a delightful drive through and around the Dartmouth campus this summer which brought up many fond memories. I am still enjoying my rose garden with a few new varieties each year and making a few more color slides to add to my collection."

Birthdays to be celebrated in the not-too-distant future are those of Yerney Russell who was born on December 26, 1880, and Roger Brown, born January 10, 1883.
