Tom Kelsey '54 stepped down from his presidential duties this fall having given the Morris and Essex County Club two fine years of enthusiastic and greatly appreciated leadership. John Trimble '58 is the Club's new president with executive committee support coming from Don Voss '58, vice president, Charlie Parton '63, vice president, Wayne French '59, and Jake Jacobus'58 secretary.
For the Club's Fiftieth Anniversary year, an active calendar is forthcoming. The first event will be the annual Holiday Mixer on Tuesday, December 29 at the Essex Falls Country Club. Tony Lupien will be our special speaker. Then during the second week in March, there will be the Fiftieth Anniversary Dinner which will be held jointly with the Bergen Country Club on April 25. The Club will hold the Annual Pre-Freshmen reception, the location will be announced at a later date. The Essex Morris Club golfers will get-together early in May, on Thursday, May 6, to sport the first Spring Golf Outing. The hilly, well-trapped and lovely Morris County Country Club in Morristown has been chosen for this special event. On Saturday, June 5, the Club will again have the popular Spring Picnic for Dartmouth families, on the lush grounds of the Short Hills Country Day School in Short Hills.
