The club has spent the spring and summer on many types of activities. This May, Soccer Coach George Reim met with prospective applicants especially interested in soccer. The father and son affair was successful. Frank Gallo and Dean Queathem, both freshmen in the incoming Class of 1975, are good soccer players and hope to play varsity soccer. The club remembers Rusty Turmail '64, who played four successful years for the Dartmouth soccer team.
Earlier this spring, the club hosted a barbeque for those men accepted for admission into the Class of 1975. St. Louis is happy to send six freshmen to Dartmouth this fall. The club plans to hold its traditional fall family picnic to give these '75's a rousing sendoff. Jim Till '62, is chairman of this year's affair. The club looks forward to Tom Curtis '32 joining us with his grandchildren perhaps. Son Lee '64 and wife Cheryl are the proud parents of a baby girl. Trustee Tom Curtis '32 has more than ever to consider seriously coeducation at Dartmouth.
Bill Biggs '52 is the new club treasurer. Roland Kolman '60, his predecessor, has left St. Louis for Pittesburgh's gain. Roli will be much missed.
The club was shocked to learn of the untimely death of Charles Edison '43 from a heart attack while on vacation in Colorado. The Club extends its heartfelt sympathy to his family.
