Robert A. "Red" Rolfe has been remembered by his classmates of 1931 by a $500 donation to the Lebanon (N. H.) Vocational Training Center. The gift was presented recently to Roger L. Allen, center director, by John Cogswell '31, class president, with a view to helping the Center make useful and productive citizens among young people in the Upper Valley area.

Last spring the Class of 1931 also gave the College a bronze plaque in memory of Red, marking his career as athlete, major league baseball player and manager, and athletic director at Dartmouth. The plaque stands at the gate to the varsity baseball field named in Red's honor.

Of the gift, John commented, "... most appropriate and fitting that Red Rolfe's lifetime interest in and concern for young people be further commemorated by this donation to a most worthy cause."
