Glee Club Endowment
NOVEMBER 1971

The Dartmouth Glee Club will be the beneficiary of a $50,000 endowment established by Mrs. John McC. Scott of Pasadena, Calif., in memory of her brother, the late Bruce Ford Bundy, a composer and a member of the Class of 1916. Income from the endowment is to be used toward travel costs of the Glee Club's annual concert tours.

Mr. Bundy made significant contribution to the music of the College as an undergraduate, writing the scores for the 1913 and 1915 Winter Carnival shows. His interest in Dartmouth and music has been memorialized by an earlier gift from another sister, the late Mrs. Alfred Carpenter of Medford, Ore. Under the terms of her gift, the choral director's office in Hopkins Center was named for Mr. Bundy.
