With the completion of final exams on March 18, the College closed down for a 12-day recess between the winter and spring terms, and small indeed was the number of students who elected to stay put amidst the Hanover snowbanks. The Tanzis are no longer available to tell us what to expect in the aftermath of the winter's record snowfall, so there is a wild variety of opinion. One certainty is that the Pothole Watchers Society, founded some years ago by Jim Farley '42, will have one of its most extended and exciting seasons.
