On January 19 the newest unit in the Dartmouth Medical School complex, Strasenburgh Hall, was dedicated in exercises coinciding with the meeting of the Alumni Council. Occupancy was initiated when the students returned after Christmas vacation, and at last we have excellent living quarters for medical students. After all the years of housing our men in makeshift facilities, the warm lights of Strasenburgh have a special happy significance for the old-timers around the School.
The Christmas season is always a pleasant one here with the eggnog party for the students, the serenades by the student carolers assisted by student nurses, and especially the greetings we receive from alumni. We cannot acknowledge each one, but we will pass on bits of incidental intelligence which accompanied some of them.
