Walter J. Lane writes that he has sold his maple products business in Reading, Mass., but retains his Gilmanton, N. H., homestead. He is still active as a chemist and is living at 110 North 19th St., Philadelphia, Pa. 19102. He says he would sure like to be with us at reunion time.

The sympathy of the Class goes to Chester and Martha Brett in the death of their younger daughter Priscilla (Mrs. William Randolph Sides Jr) at Grosse Pointe, Mich., on March 13, 1971 following a long illness. Memorial services were held in Grosse Pointe with internment in the family'lot at Harwich, Mass.

Mrs. Alice Howland Wing, widow of Richard L. and sister of Nathaniel J. Howland died at her home 199 Rockland St., South Dartmouth, Mass., on March 7 1971.

George H. Hinckley had his 85th birthday celebrated with cake, cake and more cake. The Lions Club of South Portland gave him a dinner and cake on February 11. The Masonic Past Masters Association gave him a dinner and cake on his birthday the 12th and the family took him out to dinner with a cake. George is the second oldest past master of his lodge having been Master in 1929 and on March 30 received his 50-year Veteran's Medal from the Grand Lodge of Maine A.F. & A.M.

A letter from the West Coast tells of the hospitalization of John T. Meyers, The Chief, and that he is unable to correspond. No answer has been received to a request for more information. The Chief will be 91 on July 29.

Reginald and Molly Colley are scheduled to be in Miami Beach May 1-7 for the annual convention of the American Wood- Preservers Association. Reg's paper will represent the 59th year (1912-1971) of publication activity for him. Their younger daughter Rowena was married to Walter A. Wangenheim at Leonia, N. J. on March 13. 1971.
