JUNE 1966 BERTRAND C. FRENCH, STANLEY W. LEIGHTON

This month's notes start with the recording of the passing of Oliver Parker Greenwood on April 1. Ollie was chairman of this year's reunion and had plans well along when he was stricken. The Boston group and reunions will miss him as he has been a regular attendant at class functions the last few years. There is a tribute to him in the In Memoriam column of this or a future issue.

This past month information has been received about Thomas O. and Lucy E. (Woodward) Parker who celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on June 1. They are apparently in good health and we hope to learn more about them and their families as Lucy's sister lives near Wilbur Bull in Etna.

Edward Dillon Rich (Husky) has at last let out a little information about himself and family. Until now we have had no information that he was married. To quote "I am thankful that the wife and I can still be together. Still drive my car but only on short trips. Have one grandson in military service and four granddaughters, the oldest married and living in California. Good luck to all." His home address is 1273 Cook, Denver, Colo. 80206.

Dr. Henry E. Meleny reports that both his wife and himself are in good health.

Clifford A. Blake will not be at reunion as he has to attend the graduation of his grandson and namesake, Clifford O'Connor, from the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School.

Albert W. Place is another proud grandfather this June as his granddaughter will be graduated from Boston University. He plans to give her a car as a present.

Mrs. Harry E. Buchanan has written that she is breaking up her home and will have no permanent address for a time and asks that her name be taken off the mailing list.

Mrs. Arthur H. Shoppelry's address is 252 Shore Drive, Winthrop, Mass. 02152. She is living with a sister.

With these notes, the secretary concludes the year 1966 and expresses his thanks to any who have taken the time to send news of classmates they have met or heard about.

You still have time to make that contribution to the 1966 Alumni Fund and help 1909's standing.
