The Dartmouth Club of Western New York held its annual luncheon on December 30 Prospective candidates for admission (including our first female candidates), together with their fathers, were guests of the club. From Hanover came Win Rockwell, Special Assistant to President Kemeny, and Paul Ahern '72 to update the alumni and to apprise our guests of the rapidly changing campus scene, with special emphasis on coeducation and C.Y.R.O. True to past form, however, was the 1971 Football Highlights, enjoyed by both young and old alike.

During the course of the luncheon the alumni re-elected Dick Danforth '54, president; Dan Donaldson T'66, treasurer; Fred Turner '58, secretary; Jeff Strayer '58 and Russ McNeill T'69, vice presidents; and Kipp Crickard '66 assistant secretary-treasurer. Elected to the Board of Directors for three year terms were Bob Thompson '58, Dan Donaldson, Russ McNeill and Skip Small '68.

Last year was a busy year for us and special thanks go out to Paul Dickson '37 and Dick Miller '49 for their work in making the arrangements for the President Kemeny visit and dinner. They took care of everything, even to the point of having the Mayor of Buffalo welcome President Kemeny at the dinner. Jeff Strayer and Kipp Crickard also outdid themselves in organizing the successful visit of the Glee Club.

At the luncheon Dick Danforth announced the organization of the Club's new effort to find jobs and to create intern programs for Dartmouth students in the Western New York area. It is hoped that alumni in the area will cooperate, and, with the advent of C.Y.R.O., keep students in mind for jobs throughout the year.
