Last spring found the Dartmouth Club of Western New York active. We were honored with the back-to-back visits of the Glee Club and President Kemeny.

The Glee Club on its brief tour of the East rolled into town for a Monday night performance and promptly captured the hearts of our members, wives, friends and prospects. This is Paul Zeller country and he is always welcome here. Jeff Strayer'58 and Kipp Crickard '66 ran the show for the club this year with help from Doug Adema '59, while Bob Thompson'58 and Bob's good wife Edwina organized the bedding and boarding.

Less than two weeks later we entertained President Kemeny at a club dinner. Two of our club members Dick Miller '49 and Club President Dick Danforth '54 persuaded their "boss," Mayor Sedita of Buffalo, to formally welcome President Kemeny to Buffalo. The dinner, ably organized by Bob Miller '50 and PaulDickson '37 gave the club members an excellent chance to meet the President face to face. We now know why President Kemeny holds the esteem of his undergraduate constituents. Such visits as his to Buffalo certainly will win him esteem among the alumni as well.

We look forward to seeing as many Dartmouth men as possible at the Plaza Suite, One M & T Plaza, Buffalo, on the third Thursday of the month.
