Alumni Service Honored

In recognition of long years of service to Dartmouth alumni organizations in Vermont, Albert C. Bliss '27 has received a special citation from the College. The following citation, signed by J. Michael McGean '49, Secretary of the College, and David E. Orr '57, secretary of the Dartmouth Club Officers Association, was presented to him on March 21:

Few men have labored as long or as faithfully in the vineyard of alumni affairs. Your devotion to the Dartmouth Club of Central Vermont and to your College is as strong as the green mountains of your native state. As Secretary first of the Vermont Alumni Association and then the Central Vermont Club, for nineteen years you performed your duties in a business-like manner. It was your communications which summoned the membership and united the Club. In recognition of all you have done, it is with deep gratitude that we present this special award.
