Secretary, American Embassy, Tokyo
On February 15, nineteen members of the Dartmouth Club of Japan, plus wives, gathered at the home of Club Secretary, Dave Hitchcock Jr. '50, for buffet dinner and to see the 1969 Bicentennial Film. This was one of the largest Dartmouth gatherings in Tokyo in recent years. Club President Masuo Iwanami '27 presided. Among those also present were Yoji Hirota '28, BobWilson '21 (who also serves as agent for the Alumni Fund), and former Olympic ski champion Chick Igaya '57, who recently has been transferred from New York to Tokyo. New members of the Club include: Jim Sherman '55, Ted Izzard '59, and John Lloyd '52.
The Club hopes to meet every two to three months; and visitors are always welcome!
