Investment Policy Advisers
JUNE 1972

The Board of Trustees has established a permanent Advisory Committee on Investment Objectives, with Wayne G. Broehl Jr., Professor of Business Administration at the Tuck School, as its first chairman.

The move was one of the recommendations of an earlier Ad Hoc Committee on Investment Objectives, named last year "to examine and clarify the role of the College's investment policies in today's society." The permanent committee will advise the Trustees on the general relationships of the College with corporations and on investments having possible adverse impact on desirable social goals.

Other members of the committee, as announced by President Kemeny, are History Professor Jere R. Daniell '55, current chairman of the Equal Opportunity Committee; Arthur E. Allen '32 of Hanover, a retired investment banker; Peter C. Thompson '55, Boston investment counsellor; Katherine S. Ragone, Assistant Dean of the College; Samuel B. Porter '73, an administrative intern in the Provost's office who is active in the Afro-American Society; and Thomas S. Watkin '74, news editor of The Dartmouth.
