Dean Francis H. Bird visited relatives in Orono, Me., after the Reunion and then spent the rest of the summer with his daughter in Orinda, Cal. While there he was able personally to extend the sympathy of the Class upon the death of her father to one of Jack Glynn's daughters, Mrs. Harold L. Scotten, 22 Mariposa Lane, Orinda.
Bertrand C. French was elected a member of the Executive Committee for the next year at the annual meeting of the General Association of Alumni of the College on June 9, 1973.
Wilbur and Eunice Bull spent several weeks of the summer at Chautauqua, N.Y., attending lec- tures and concerts. Wilbur's 60th ordination to the ministry at Billerica, Mass., on June 9, 1913 was celebrated in Hanover, N.H. on June 17 with special services and a reception at the Church of Christ at Dartmouth.
The 64th Reunion saw six classmates Bird, Bull, Clark, Colley, French, and Hinckley in Hanover June 11-13. Two wives and one sister were also present.
1909 participated in the 1973 Alumni Fund as follows: 26 classmates contributed $1,369.38; 26 widows and relatives contributed $685.00; and five memorial funds produced $1,657.34 for a total of $3,711.72 from 59 contributors. 1909 was second in participation among the veteran classes with 101.7%.
