Edward Dillion Rich writes that his wife Edith had died last March 31, 1971. She had suffered a fractured hip in a fall at their apartment which caused complica- tions from which she did not recover. They would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on December 11, 1971. Ed says he is keeping their apartment at 1273 Cook St., Denver, Colo. 80206 and is able to take care of himself. His two sons and their families now live in Colorado and a grandson has just returned from Vietnam.
Lynde W. Tucker writes that his wife Berenice died on the afternoon of October 15, 1971 without warning as they were entering the waiting room of their dentist to keep an appointment.
Rev. Wilbur I. and Eunice S. Bull spent the holiday season in California. They flew out to help a sister-in-law celebrate her 50th wedding anniversary.
Mrs. Muriel Abbott, Royal's widow, and daughter Mona visited a branch of the family in the British Isles during their vacation and attended a family wedding. They then separated and visited the places they were interested in. Mrs. Abbott spent two weeks in Spain and Portugal. Mona has been awarded a Library of Congress Braille Diploma for typing a Ms of 37 pages with only seven errors. The Abbott family became a 3rd generation family of Dartmouth men with the enrollment of Stephen Abbott son of Royal Jr. '37 in the Class of 1975.
Mrs. Muriel Sporborg, Art's widow, has moved into her newly completed villa in a retirement center called the Baptist Center at Pompano Beach, Fla. Her new address is Villa #25,630 SW 6th Street, Pompano Beach, Fla. 33060.
