The largest and most pleasant gathering of the Class of 1925 ever held outside of the Hanover area was hosted by Ginie and PeteHaffenreffer at their Mount Hope Farm in Bristol, R.I., on Saturday, June 23. Total attendance was 103 and almost half of these stayed over until Sunday to enjoy a luncheon given by Naomi and Bob Borwell aboard their yacht "Misty" at the Goat Island Marina in Newport.

The general invitation to this affair was issued last fall at our Hanover meeting and formal invitations went out early in May to those in the Northeast who live reasonably close. Most of those attending arrived in mid-morning at the Haffenreffers' fine old New England farmhouse which is surrounded by lovely trees, lawns, gardens, and fields sloping down to Mt. Hope Bay.

The only physical activity of the morning was swimming at the large pool situated with its bath houses down the hill from the main house, barn, guest house, lodge, and associated buildings. Following this the visitors moved further down to the shore where drinks and more talk were enjoyed by all and where the accompanying picture was taken.

Then the group adjourned to tables under a large tent where broiled chicken with all the trimmings was served. Without going into details, it is sufficient to say that no one went away thirsty or hungry.

The only speech before adjournment was by President Charlie Moore presenting an award by the Class to Lloyd "Jock" Brace in recognition of his 22 years of service as a Trustee of the College. He retired from the Board at the Commencement meeting this year as reported in the July issue of this Magazine. 1925 can well be and is proud of his achievements and grateful for his service.

The party aboard "Misty" the next day took care of 42 guests comfortably and pleasantly with cocktails and a buffet luncheon in delightful surroundings with a good breeze blowing and the harbor traffic affording a lively background.

To Ginie and Pete, Naomi and Bob, the Class extends its thanks for an interim reunion that will be long remembered.

The following were present at Mount Hope Farm: Marian and Curt Abel, Dorothy and Doug Archibald, Marian and Ross Beatty, Bob and Anita Bingham and daughter, Haven and Eddie Blake, Helen and Lloyd Brace, Dorothy and Nate Bugbee, Naomi and Bob Borwell and Bob's sister Mrs. Bess Knight, Gordon Churchill, Louise and Web Collins, Line Davis, Mig and Paul Deisroth, Helen and Mott Garlock, Drue and John Garrod, Helen and Blair Gilbert, Conny and Lane Goss, Rosanne and Ed Griffin, Ginie and Pete Haffenreffer, Don Hunt, Bill and Billee Jenkins, Jane and Don Kilby, Jane and Brad Kingman, Mabel and Everett Learnard, Dot and Larry Leavitt, Marian and Bun Levison, Ellery and Red Martin, Mary and Terry McGaughan, Kay and Bob McKennan, Addie and Charlie Moore, Virginia and George Newman, Lydia and Ken Nugent, Barbara and Bob Palmer, Bee and Bernie Phillips, Connie and Bob Pierce, Eva and Porter Roberts, Betty and Walt Sawyer, Betty and Mac Shepard, Betty and Bill Sleigh, Esther and Lang Spring.
