The annual dinner of the Dartmouth Club of New Haven was held on May 21, 1973 at the Royal Footman Restaurant in Hamden, Conn. There was an excellent attendance of 51 alumni and guests for dinner and a panel discussion concerning undergraduate life at Dartmouth today. The panel was moderated by Stuart Finch '42 and its members consisted of Joel Zylberberg '72, Glen Harder '72, Susan Gordon '73, and Sheldon Finch '75. Joel is a first year law student at Yale and Glen is a first year Yale medical student. Susan will enter law school this fall and Sheldon plans to continue his undergraduate studies during the summer term in Hanover. Dr. Finch is a professor of medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine.

The panel discussion after dinner was extremely well received. Both the undergraduate and graduate students were remarkably articulate and exceptionally well informed in their discussions of a large number of academic, social, and administrative questions relating to undergraduate life. Their clear descriptions of new academic programs, coeducation, athletic standards, student governence, foreign study and changing values while maintaining the finest in academic excellence was extremely informative and most reassuring to all alumni present. Another important feature of the meeting was the strong feeling of pride the alumni came away with in the quality of the Dartmouth product of today.
