The call for class dues has been met with enthusiasm in terms of both checks and news. This month's column is derived from this unexpected but welcomed source.

Tony Newkirk writes that "after three and onehalf years in the Navy doing strategic planning, tromping in the jungles of 'Nam, and analyzing long-range R&D objectives, I find myself at Harvard Business School busting a gut in an attempt to master the case method."

After completion of his Ph.D. in organic chemistry at MIT, Dave Sclove moved his family to Lexington, Ky., where he works for 1.8.M. in chemical products development.

Following their marriage, Bill and Jo AnnCalhoun took up residence in Binghamton, N. Y., where Bill is ah assistant minister.

Boston College Law School conferred a degree on Bruce Chasan last June. Bruce is now working in the Office of the General Counsel, U. S. Dept. of Agriculture.

Gary and Joyce Atkins are the parents of Shoshana Esther born February 28, 1972. Gary will be ordained in June, 1974.

Fort Wayne is Tom Walsh's home while he attends Indiana Law.

Jim Gifford is "still floating around the Western Pacific on an LPH (helicopter carrier), the USSNew Orleans." He will return to his home port of San Diego in May, '73.

Presently, Steve Guch is the main propulsion assistant aboard the USS Bainbridge deployed in WESTPAC. Wife Susan and son lan Christopher are based in Huntington Beach, Cal. Upon discharge from the service in June '74, Steve will return to UMass and complete his doctoral studies in low temperature, solid state physics.

Sausalito was the site of Don and Ina Garni's wedding in November, 1972. Ina flies for Pan American and Don is with the airport planning group of Peat, Marwick, Mitchel and Co. in San Francisco.

Since graduation, Mel Boozer has spent four years in Brazil in the Peace Corps and one year at Oberlin doing post-graduate work in Sociology on a Rockerfeller-Macy Grant. For the next four years, Mel will be in New Haven at the Yale Graduate School in Sociology on a Ford Doctoral Fellowship.

Chuck Hobbie completed two years in the Peace Corps in a Korean University as a teacher and then was transferred to the Special Services division of the Peace Corps in Washington, D. C., where he is able to attend G. W. Law's evening session.

After receiving his Ph.D. in Zoology from the Univ. of Wisconsin, Joseph Koonce was appointed as a faculty member in Wisconsin's Institute for Environmental Studies. He has also been selected as a participating scientist in a Smithsonian sponsored study of Lake Skador, Yugoslavia.

Erik Joh coached high school football in Albany during his last two years at Albany Law School. He is now practicing in the Binghamton, N. Y., area.

An Internal Medicine residency at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa., occupies most of Wayne Letizia's time. Wayne and Susan sought the "country setting—away from the bustle of NYC," where Wayne attended Cornell Med and Susan, Cornell Nursing.

Peter Thomas is practicing dentistry in Hampton Falls, N. H. A son Austin Peter was born on June 24, '72.

Milford (N. H.) High has Craig Jackson as its English and Russian teacher and varsity baseball coach. Craig also reports sports for the local newspaper.

Boston University granted Paul Rothschild his law degree in 1971. Since then, he has been working for the law firm of Ruboy, Deutsch and Krasnow in B-town. Paul and Marsha live in Newton.

A 2500 mile do-it-yourself safari and honeymoon was taken by Gerald and Kathleen Petitt last spring. Gerald is the manager of the American Express Space Bank for operations and marketing in Toronto. Kathleen is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
