Art Thibodeau, who was equipment manager for Dartmouth teams for more than 40 years until he retired in 1967, died on May 23 after a long illness.

Preparatory site work for construction of the Rupert Thompson Arena has begun on Chase. Field across South Park St. from Leverone Field House.

Four undergraduate representatives named to the Athletic Council for 1973-74 are: football halfback Ben Bridges from Evanston, Ill.; Bob Karin, varsity wrestling and assistant football manager from Brooklyn, N.Y.; Peter Chenevert, student director of the intramural program from Springfield, Mass.; and Candy Neville from Shaker Heights, Ohio, who represents the women's athletic program.

Ron Campion '55 from Hanover is the new alumni member of the Athletic Council, joining Walter Bush '51 from Minneapolis, Minn., and Leo McKenna '56 from Rye, N.Y.

John Lundgren captained the golf team tothe winningest season among all the BigGreen teams this spring.
