Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gordon Bridge '39 have announced the marriage of his sister, Mrs. Helen Bridge McGuire, to Keith Drake in Santa Ana, Calif. Mrs. Drake is also the sister of the late Gordon Bridge '24 and Douglas Bridge '41, and on Keith's side of the family, to complete the Bridge-Drake Dartmouth Club, Keith had two brothers, the late Lyman Drake '18 and Robert Tucker Drake '29. The residence of the newly-married couple will be 2314-F Via Puerta, Laguna Hills, Calif. 92653. Best wishes from the Class to the newlyweds.

According to a late and well-authenticated report, our next issue will contain exciting news regarding Chairman Jimmy Reid; possibly establishing a "First" for a 50-year class chairman.

The death of J. Roberts (Bill) Doe on August 24 at Emerson Hospital, Concord, Mass., has been reported. He is survived by one son, William H. '50; a daughter, Mrs. Jessica Terrill of Indianapolis; and four grandchildren. The Class extends sympathy to them. An obituary appears in this issue.

Among the season's best sellers is a history of the Bass River Golf Club (located in South Yarmouth, Mass.) writeen by Roily Barker. Rolly's brother Dale 'l6 was secretary of the club for many years. And of particular interest to the Class is the fact that Frank Sheehy was manager of the club from 1929 to 1965. Your secretary is able to report that both Roily and Frank are frequent attendants at the club, occasionally ac- companied by other members of the same Dartmoth generation.

Secretary, 87 Driving Tee Circle South Yarmouth, Mass. 02664
