Harry Mosser, who retired to Asheville, N.C., states that the Blue Ridge Parkway on the Sky Line Drive, a National Park, is the habitat of bootleggers. But, he says that there are very few Ivy Leaguers who are so engaged.

Alec Youngerman sent us a Christmas card made by his artist wife, Reyna. It is a block print of six children engaged apparently in a picnic, maybe a group of Alec's grandchildren.

Doug Storer writes in his syndicated column of The Floridian called "Amazing but True," a story about Father Elias Kalariotis. He is the young and energetic pastor of the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Nicholas in Tarpon Springs, Fla. The church's saint died over 600 years ago and some of his bones were brought to the United States where they were enshrined in the Church of St. Nicholas in Flushing, N.Y., site of the New York World's Fair. The remainder of these relics are to be found in the Mideast and Europe.

Doug was so intrigued by the story that he designed a Christmas postage stamp showing both the Saint and the church in Demri. The Turkish government approved the stamp and had it issued for the holidays. It is the only stamp ever issued by a Moslem Government to commemorate a Christian saint.

Joseph Folger brings us an up-to-date story on his family.

Son David, a professor teaching geology and oceanography at Middlebury College, drove the senior Folgers through Hanover just before Thanksgiving and brought them memories of Joe's academic days and Marion' histrionic career.

David's youngest child Susan plays piano and flute, and Peter, nearly 14, is high scorer on his hockey team. So, he shows promise as both an athlete and scholar.

Son Allen also is the proud parent of two talented daughters. Martha, the older, a graduate from Keene State, spent one year at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She flew to England for 18 months of Mormon missionary work around Plymouth, Devonshire County. Granddaughter Anne who started in Bucknell College for one year, ended up at Katherine Gibbs Secretarial College in Boston. Then that June she was married to a Lebanon (N.H.) boy, a junior at Bowdoin, while Anne commuted to Portland to a secretarial job with a law firm.

More and more classmates have approached their golden wedding anniversary. We hear about most of them but won't attempt to list them for fear somebody would be left out. Anyway, we wish to offer congratulations to them ail.

The next homecoming of the Class is arranged at the time of the Princeton game, scheduled for October 12, 1974 at the Holiday Inn in White River Junction. It is not too early to make reservations since space will be at a premium. First come, first served.

The 1921 Florida reunion will be omitted this coming spring in deference to the late KennethThomas, who passed away suddenly on the last day of the occasion in 1973.
