If there had been no banquet of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Boston last night there would be no column today.

There were ten representatives of '31 present, including Mai Hall, Phil Holden, Ed Hanauer,Ed Langenbach, Pete Peterson, and yours truly — many of them with their attractive spouses. Pete Peterson is sporting a magnificent white chin beard which gives him the aura of a master mariner — not ari ancient one, however. The group was about half divided between those retired and those still working.
