1909's 65th Reunion saw ten classmates and eight women present for three pleasant days in Hanover June 7-9.

Rev. Wilbur I. and Eunice Bull, the on-the-scene representatives of the reunion committee, entertained President Harold S. Clark and wife Harriet from Cape Cod and George H.Hinckley from Maine at their home Cloudcroft in Etna, N.H., from Thursday to the end of Reunion.

Chairman Reg Colley, wife Molly and sister Sally Gale met up with Secretary Bert French and daughter Lucy Morey on Rt. 89 and arrived in Hanover in mid-morning of Friday to find Dean Francis H. Bird ensconced in his room in North Fayerweather, the class dormitory. Mrs.Laurence C. Chase (Marion), was at the Inn and Al Bates checked in there before noon. ToniMcLoud and daughter Mary arrived about the same time and had rooms in Middle Fayerweather. Head Agent Stanley (Plum)Leighton was in North Fayerweather.

The Bulls had invited the Class to their home in Etna for luncheon and 16 sat down to the first gathering of the Reunion. After enjoying good food and company, some attended Class Day exercises at the Bema, some took the bus tour arranged by the College, while others visited with college officials. At 5 p.m. there was a full attendance in the function room at the Inn for a social hour. A roast beef dinner was served in Thayer Hall at 6:30 p.m. with two tables reserved for '09. After dinner some attended President and Mrs. Kemeny's at home. At 9:15 p.m. we gathered in Spaulding Auditorium for the Dartmouth Glee Club Concert. The Bulls' granddaughter Susan Bull '77 was a member of the Club.

Saturday morning Mike Farley and ArtGraves arrived for the day. The reunion class picture was taken at 9:30 a.m. in front of Webster Hall. At 10:30 a.m. the Class assembled in the function room for an im- pressive memorial service conducted by Rev.Wilbur Bull in memory of the 25 who had died since 1969. Susan Bull with her flute added much to the service. The Alumni luncheon in the Drake Room had all 18 present. At 1:30 p.m. the Annual Meeting of the General Alumni Association was held in Spaulding Auditorium with our 10 members seated in the front row and presented to the assembly by Secretary of the College J. Michael McGean.

At 5:30 p.m., all gathered in the function room for the reunion class meeting. Various reports were given and accepted. The preset officers were reelected with Francis H. Bird replacing A. Gordon Weinz as vice president he having declined reelection. After a pleasant dinner, the Class indulged in reminiscence and viewing slides covering 20 years of class activities.

Sunday morning eight members gathered in front of Webster Hall to form an escort with the Classes of 1914, 1919, and 1924 for the Class of 1974 and Dartmouth's 203rd Commencement.

After Commencement, we again gathered in the function room for lunch, social hour and farewells. The theme of the Valedictory, "Happiness," was much in evidence during the three days and 1909 has most happy memories of its 65th Reunion.

Nine of the 10 men back for 1908's 65th, abetted by some distaff members.
