1909 has recorded the passing of two more classmates: Albert Whitford Place on January 28, 1967 and William Henry Bullock on January 29, 1967.

Head Agent Stanley W. Leighton and assistants will be contacting you for the 1967 Alumni Fund. As this is written, 1909 has two who have contributed 49 years, one, 47 years, two, 46 years and one, 45 years.

Seven members of the class maintained their membership in the Dartmouth Educational Association during 1966 and two were remembered by memorial gifts. The membership of this association was 1870 as of January 1, 1967.

Reunion Chairman Chester S. Brett is working hard on the details for the informal reunion June 12-13-14. This will be the halfway one to our 60th in 1969. It is later than you think - so plan to be with your classmates in Hanover this June.

Harold S. Clark, Chester S. Brett, and Bertram! C. French attended the February meeting of the Dartmouth Club of Cape Cod at Hyannis, Mass. About 35 gather monthly to enjoy an hour of good fellowship and a luncheon.

Dean Francis H. Bird is on a trip to the Near East and has been instructed to use his camera freely and bring the results to Hanover in June. He- and Reg Colley have accepted their assignment as the Haggerty Twins to be in charge of the Happy Hour.

Judge Emma Fall Schofield, widow of AI, was the subject of a special article in the Boston Globe of February 12 complete with picture of her and grandson Lane (3). She has been visiting in California on her way to Hawaii to visit granddaughter, Christy aged 15. The Judge has completed a humorous memoir about her father entitled "The Incredible Adventures of the Absent Minded Professor." He taught Roman History at Boston University for forty years.

Mrs. Philip S. (Mabel) Avery, widow of AI, is now at Belmar House, Peterborough, N. H. as daughter Joan has taken a teaching position near Boston.

Ernest H. Goodrich writes from his home in Saco, Me., that age has slowed him down but his health is good.

Ernest C. Whitney reports that everything is OK with him and that he is busy every day running his three big hardware stores in Salem, Beverly, and Marblehead. His home port is 41 Pine St., Danvers, Mass. 01923.

Walter J. Lane has returned to his old ad- dress 127 North 20th St., Philadelphia, Pa. 19103 where he is busy with his chemical work. He still has the old homestead at Gilmanton, N. H., but seldom gets up there. He sends his best to all the Class.

French P. Sargeant, who was with the Class freshman year and graduated from M.I.T. in 1910, has an address at Apt. 202, 880 Mandelay Ave., Clearwater Beach, Fla. 33515.

Mrs. Albert W. Place, Vic's widow, has an address at Box 522, Route 112, Plaistow, N. H., for the winter.

1909 salutes this month Joseph L. Goodheart who will be 82 on the sth and SidneyC. Hazelton who will be 79 on the 20th.
