Secretary, 2549 E. Beryl Ave. Phoenix, Ariz. 85028

Under the leadership of Doane Arnold '27, ably assisted by Phil Kerce '61, vice president, the Dartmouth Club of Phoenix had a good year. The outstanding functions were the attendance by many Dartmouth Phoenicians at the dedication ceremonies of the McGraw-Hill observatory and telescope at Kitt Peak outside of Tucson, and the annual Christmas party for undergraduates and Dartmouth prospects at The Homestead, which is a fine functional facility of the Paradise Valley Country Club. Phil Kerce '61 and Sherman Bendalin '63 assumed responsibility for the Christmas party and with cooperating undergraduates provided a most interesting program. We regret the departure of Doane Arnold '27 from our midst but the lure of the Maine woods and lakes was too strong so he and Marie have hied back to the East. We shall miss them. Meanwhile, the Club operates under the guidance of president GeorgeBlaesi '32 of Sun City.
