Congratulations are extended to Richard D.Hofman, who has been appointed to the new position of executive vice president of Teepak, Inc., a member of The Continental Group, Inc., and is to be responsible for all operations. Now located in New York, where he has served as general manager of Continental's corporate planning and development, Dick will be relocating in the Chicago area with his wife Joan and four children. Teepak is a major participant in the meat processing industry worldwide.
We hear from Dick that Walt Goedkeep is also with The Continental Group, as controller for its diversified industries in Europe. Located in Brussels, Walt continues to enjoy his European sojourn - he was previously with ITT, also in Europe. Dick also reports that SteveMartindale is living the good life in Waterville, Ohio, with his wife Chris and three children. Steve is president of The Kiemle Hankins Co. in Toledo.
Jere R. Hawkins has been promoted to as- sistant vice president at Industrial National Bank, Providence, R. I., effective June 22, 1977. Jere and his wife Jeanne are living in Barrington. He is a director of Junior Achievement of Rhode Island, and a member of the President's Club of the Providence Chamber of Commerce.
Robert Vetrone, living in Troy, Mich., with his wife and two girls, writes that after starting at Uniroyal, Inc. in production and personnel, he is now in labor relations at Uniroyal's tire plant in Detroit. Bob finds he enjoys life in Troy, and hopes to have more time to get involved in Dartmouth alumni activities.
Bill Pierce says he has received a charming note from Ann Evans thanking him on behalf of Dave, herself, and their children, for the reunion T-shirts and frisbees, and telling how much Dave appreciated the good wishes and signing of the reunion book sent to them.
John Clark, happy with the 14-11 results of the Princeton game on September 17, reports seeing John and Nancy Walters, Karen and JoshRich, and also Bob Mahoney and Dud Hallagan lending their support.
The Rev. Michael J. Tancreti has recently accepted an assignment to the rector of All Saints Episcopal Church, Omaha, Neb. His assignment is to focus on parish education and the programming of a retreat center maintained by the parish. Fr. Tancreti, when previously living in Dubuque, served there as assistant rector at St. John's Episcopal Church, where he was on the board of Project Care, establishing day care for the elderly. He and his wife Jane and three children moved to Omaha June 1.
