Our Club was particularly fortunate this winter to have several illustrious sons of Dartmouth as speakers: At our annual dinner, attended by over 100, Trustee Donald C. McKinlay '37 reported on the Trustees' meeting of January and the "boy-girl ratio" subject. Following his talk he fielded numerous questions on various aspects of the College. Then on February 25, Dean Ralph Manuel '58 arrived, fresh from the rigors of the winter scene, and gave a very stimulating talk to our luncheon meeting and reaffirmed his faith in the high quality of coeducation at the College to approximately 75 alumni, wives, friends of the College, high school counselors, and seven applicants for the Class of 1981. Our next get together was held on April 13 at the Hospitality Buffet North in Naples. Our own Dr. EdO'Brien '35 spoke to us about the Naples Community Hospital and emergency room innovations and treatment.
