The Class of 1923Funding Association

In celebration of the 55th anniversary of their graduation, members of the Class of 1923 founded the "Funding Association" last year. The objective of their special reunion project was to encourage members of the class and their wives to perpetuate annual giving to Dartmouth beyond their lifetimes through the establishment of individual endowment funds, either by lifetime gifts or bequests under their wills. Under the leadership of Truman T. Metzel of Winnetka, Illinois, a grand total of $2,313,242 was received or pledged.
