Here are more of your notes sent along with class dues, some dating back to last fall:

Hal Beloin (Stonington, Conn.): "This is our fifth year of living at Spring Lake Condominium, which we think compares very favorably with Heritage Village. Six years of retirement have been good for Kay and me. Plenty to do when we want to and nothing to do when that is our desire, which fortunately is seldom. Saw Wait Sherwood in Roxbury last week and spent a very pleasant day with him recalling old times."

Ray Hedger (Sea Cliff, N.Y.): "Believe it or not, I'm still commuting and working — tapering off, goofing off, but still peddling my printing and enjoying life. The only other '29er I see is Bud Foulks, who is running the Bankers Club. My wife is recuperating from a serious operation, so we are missing this fall's football weekend in Hanover for the first time in years."

Nat Barrows (Vero Beach, Fla.): "I am pleased to report that my grandson, Jeff Bannon, is a freshman at Dartmouth and very enthusiastic about life in Hanover. He also graduated from my other Alma Mater, Phillips Exeter, with honors in music. Jeff was very active in theatrical events there. And to think that I was once worried about the younger generation."

Gus Wiedenmayer (Short Hills, N.J.): "Mary and I just returned from three weeks in South America — a little sightseeing after a directors' meeting of Schering-Plough in Rio. Saw Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Santiago, and Lima. Various side trips. Saw good education and some progress — also much poverty. Glad to be back home."

Heinie Richardson (Laconia, N.H.): "Frequent golf scores keep me unhappy, both in Laconia and for three months in Florida."

The Rev. Archie Crowley (West Chatham, Mass.): "We are enjoying life here on Cape Cod. There are about nine Class of '29 men on the Cape — most of us get to half of the Cape Cod meetings. I am still playing tennis (doubles) with a very active group of retired men, twice a week. Our two sons and their families live in Massachusetts so that we see them quite frequently. Somehow we keep busy — busier than we had planned."

Art Clow (Short Hills, N.J.): "With gardening, particularly roses and tomatoes, and swimming in our pool we have had a busy summer. We also entertained 7 of our 11 grandchildren part of the time. Plan to spend Christmas and New Year's at. Antigua and February and March at Longboat Key. Saw Sonny Hetfield and Estelle the other night. He is learning to live with a pacemaker and seems to be doing well."

Stewie Jones (Paris): "I continue practicing medicine at the American Hospital of Paris, having a very interesting group of patients not only from France but from every country in Europe, Africa, and Asia, and North America. In our spare time we tour Europe as sightseers, visit museums and cathedrals, and in the Alps see some remarkable scenery. Eating is also an interesting affair as there are so many delicious dishes and each region has its own specialties."

Ben Stacey (East Orleans, Mass.): "Our classmate Art D'Elia, M.D., recently had a big celebration in his honor at retirement, and he is active in fund-raising for the Cape Cod Hospital.

"We are great-grandparents for the first time. We plan to drive to Florida and have a house on Sanibel Island for February and March."

Herb Bissell (Minneapolis): "I'm sorry to report the loss of my wife Rachel on August 18. We had 46 wonderful years together, and I have much to be thankful for, including my two married daughters living right here. Carol graduated from Mt. Holyoke and Joan from Wells. Each has three children. Hope to attend our 50th and am thinking of attending one of the alumni summer seminars." The Class extends its sympathy to the Bissell family on its great loss.

In November Austin Starrett was married to Claudine Capshaw Taylor.
