Mark and Kathy Blanchard are in Bangkok, Thailand, where Mark is assistant general manager of Caltex Oil Ltd. Steve, three-and-a-half, was born when the Blanchard's were stationed in the Phillipines, and Emily, oneand-a-half, when they were in Australia. Where's home? Orford, N.H., of course, in a modest hilltop farmhouse.
Dr. Joel Mumford is in Boston, where this month he'll be joining the staff of Beth Israel Hospital and Harvard Medical School with an appointment as instructor in anaesthesia.
In Caracas, Venezula, Jim Sutherland is a second vice president with the Chase Manhattan Bank's local affiliate, Banco Mercantil Agricola. Jim met his wife Bronwen, a New Zealander, through the local English theater group.
Lieutenant Commander Dick Jones has been all over in the past ten years with the U.S. Coast Guard - headquartered in Washington, Cuba, New Orleans, Houston. He's now executive officer of the Bibb, a 40-year-old, 327- foot, high-endurance cutter based in New Bedford, Mass.
In New York, Bob Cohn has joined Wunderman Ricotta Inc., an agency specializing in direct-response advertising. Bob had recently been circulation director of New York Magazine.
In Johnson, Vt., Peter Eddy teaches at Johnson State College.... In Toronto, Jim Yarmon is president of Eljim Realty Ltd. and president of the Dartmouth Club of Toronto.... Out in the 50th state, Stan Colla teaches at Hawaii Prep Academy.
Buck Shinkman is in Washington, where he was recently appointed a foreign service information officer with the U.S. Information Agency. How do you train for the USIA? Buck's own system was two years in Vietnam, then editorial work in London before joining Benn Brothers, Ltd., trade and technical publishers.
