FIFTEENTH REUNION

It was hot. It was hectic. It was wonderful. It was Dartmouth. It was the 15th Reunion of the Class of 1966.

Nearly 90 classmates, accompanied by an even greater number of wives and children, were part of a record throng of some 900 members of the classes of 1964, 1965, and 1966 who returned to Hanover on June 13-15.

With Fayerweather Row and the class tent outside Alpha Delta Fraternity as a home base, '66s trotted through the schedule of dining, dancing, jogging, learning, and just plain socializing events that chair Paul Doscher and his reunion team put together.

Highlights included a panel entitled "The Dragons of Eden: Approaching 40 through Nature and Nurture" (which was so popular it was repeated); dancing at various times to the soft rock of "Old Dog, New Tricks" and "Heist," the square dance calls of "Smash the Window," and the Bluegrass of "The Breakfast of Champions"; a reception in the garden of President Kerheny's home; and a Class dinner in (you guessed it) Thayer Hall. The kids got their biggest thrills at the Junior Olympics.

Yes, classmates came from far and near. Donand Margot Graves from Placentia, Calif., KenFlowers from Falls Church, Va., Tim and MarjorieBarnard from Glen Mills, Pa., Brad andRudi Laycock from Rochester, N.Y., Rick andKris MacMillan from Franklin Lakes, N.J., and Tim and Cynthia Paige from Longmeadow, Mass.

The class executive committee meeting, often held at reunion, has been shifted to October 18 in Hanover (Harvard weekend). Anyone with ideas for class projects or the names of candidates for the class executive committee (including your own) is urged to write class president Terry Lawd at Box 47, North Sutton, N.H. 03755.
