A "Friend of '74" sends news of several classmates. Dave and Hope Powers receive the class's best wishes on the birth of their first child, Eric Brent Powers, on September 9. They live in Falls Church, Va., where Dave is in his third year of residency at George Washington. Also on our list of proud parents are Mike andEllen Pancoe, whose daughter Beth Elise arrived in June. Mike is in his second year of residency in radiology at the University of Virginia at Charlottesville. Steve Koenig is in Chicago in the second year of an ophthalmology residency at Northwestern and is "enjoying the life of the eligible man-about-town." Lew and JanWarshauer are living in Lexington, Mass., and in September celebrated the first birthday of their son Adam. Lew will complete a residency in radiology this year and hopes to return to New Jersey to practice.
A personal note of thanks to "Friend of '74" and to others who send news of classmates. The more people who share their news with the class secretary, the better this column is and the easier my job is.
