When all else fails, it is customary to revert to the weather as an available subject for discussion. Throughout history, profound observations have been propounded on the subject by various renowned individuals, especially Mark Twain. A recently noted apt reference in this regard by an unknown author concedes that "There is nothing wrong with New England except February." We are happy to announce that two more members of 1911 have joined the rather exclusive ranks of those attaining the venerable age of 90 - Don Cheney on January 23 and Wee Kimball on February 12. Three others will be eligible for this distinction in March, April, and August. Six more "youthful" members will have to wait another year or so longer.
To any members of the Class and their families who have an urge to enjoy June days in Hanover, in a non-reunion year, we recommend that you consider the recently announced Hanover Holiday June 11-13. The circular sent you explains all the details of this attractive program. We recall that the Ken Clarks attended this function in 1977 and reported an enjoyable holiday sojourn.
