Welcome spring! Slrump, skis put away, jogging shoes dusted off, tennis racket restrung, and last fall's leaves to contend with. A delightfully refreshing time of year.
Reynolds W. Guyer still lives in St. Paul, Minn., with spouse and five children, two of whom are attending college. Reyn has made an exciting change in his lifestyle in that he has sold his toy and game development company a year ago and has assumed his avocation of painting and sculpturing as his full-time vocation. Reyn has established his new business in a loft-type studio and has been successful with showings of his works and in obtaining commissions to produce his works for both private and business clients. Anyone who can convert his hobby into his full-time profession must be having fun, and Reyn certainly sounded as if he were delighted with this change of pace.
Zeuss Stevens, who seemed to be the perennial Dartmouth student (at least he was always on campus anytime I happened to get to the Hanover area), received his master's degree in hospital administration from Trinity University at San Antonio, Tex., and took his residency in Schenectady, N.Y. Zeuss then moved to Nashville, Tenn., on the recommendation of fraternity brother Hoyt Goodrich '58 to begin his career. More recently, Zeuss has assumed the responsibility for administering the Canton- Pottsdam Health Facility which is located in rural upstate New York. This 100-bed hospital includes an outpatient clinic, lab facilities, and X-ray department, and services a large rural area.
John P. Hall Jr. has been named president of Devro Inc., an affiliate of Johnson & Johnson that manufactures edible protein sausage casings - and all this time I thought they were a product of mother nature. John joined J & J in 1963 as supervisor, research planning, for the corporation's Chicopee Manufacturing Co. affiliate, where he held a number of positions before being named executive vice president, operations, in 1976. John currently lives with his wife and two children in Princeton, N.J.
Ron W. Powell has communicated from Winter Park, Fla., where he resides with his wife Barbara and their twin 16-year-old and 11- year-old sons. Ron points out that Winter Park is near Orlando (and Disney World), which may leave him open to visitors from the North. Ron served with the Marine Corps upon graduation and then received his law degree from Stetson Law School in St. Petersburg. After 15 years of practice, 12 of which were as a prosecuting attorney, Ron was elected as a circuit judge. He was sworn in on January 2, 1979. We trust you will enjoy the challenges of your career as it continues on the other side of the bench, Ron.

This year Larrie is chairing the development committee of the academy's Board of Trustees, a responsibility that will require substantial effort to fulfill and which is so vital to maintaining the strength of any private institution.
