All alumni were interested and proud to learn that President Kemeny had been appointed by President Carter to head the commission to investigate the accident at the Three Mile Island nuclear reactor. The President could not have selected a better man. We will look forward to the report of this commission, which is due in six months.

Your secretary was the proud recipient of a beautiful pewter bowl from the Dartmouth Alumni Fund. It bears an inscription commending him for 60 years of continuous giving to the Fund. I have since learned that the following classmates were likewise honored: Al Bradley, Dale Barker, Hal Davison, DuzeLounsberrv, and Bags Wanamaker. I am sure that they are as pleased as I was to receive this recognition.

As this is written, plans are being made to attend the Class Officers Weekend at Hanover. A later column will report any decisions affecting the Class, such as plans for a reunion in 1980.
